Herzog 的这个建筑和他以往的设计一样，非常关注表皮。这次还加入了活泼的色彩。

我亲自参观了这个建筑后有很多感想。

首先，建筑师对于表皮技术的运用的确是令人佩服。这个建筑的表皮由两层构成，外皮主要为卡布龙板，还有部分反射玻璃，内层为混凝土或磨沙玻璃。其中朦胧效果的卡布龙板和清晰的反射玻璃形成了很强的视觉对比，和Herzog 以往的做法有所不同。卡布龙板除了半透明的外，只有三种色彩：紫色，绿色和湖兰，是由Michael Craig-Martin艺术家设计的。
