       after the lecture,I begin to feel sth interesting in the DA's design.it reflected the culture of america.In my word the culture is game culture.this is not a derogatory sence word.it's kind of post-something like word. What I have seen is some projects with somepoint attractive in one architecture,such as the stairs in the first one,the ceiling in the pizza restaurant,etc. The design process is that first presettle some conditions of the project,then find out the goal of the project.in the middle,enjoy the process of using materials and whatever to turn the goal into reality. compare to some architects in europe or in acient china,they do not care for the result of the form,but the living conditions and what's the client's basic life style.what lies behind is the differents between economy.when the country is filled with money and people like to enjoy any thing ,the demand of architecture is changed.I do not have a more detailed and vivid understanding of office da,but from one lecture I can tell something like that.is that so? anyway,another attractive point is the details and how to use different kinds of materials.
