sorry to return your message lately, coz really busy on my assignments.
as for Master of urban design or urban plan, i have no idea with them. I strongly suggest you to visit the website of Faculty of Architecture,USYD, and you can obtain a number of informatio about each steam. Just have a look, if there is any question, feel free to ask me.

Is this program is related to real retate?

Design Science have many program, facilities management is one of them.

I am not sure what is Facility management about. As I said before, Design computing is the hottest major in Design Science. As for more details about each of programs of Design Science, please visit faculty website.

if you don't mind, i want to answer your question about the urban design, i think the same program in UNSW is much better than in USYD, because when i received the offer, i asked Nomad the same question and he said the urban development and design in UNSW is the best one is AU, so that's why i'm here, in the UNSW. : )

请问这些东西哪些可以在当地买，哪些要在这里买？
要带参考书吗？
在国外课程中要用到哪几个软件？3d很重要吗？（我不会，如果要的话，我要赶紧学）

草图纸应该多带,电脑不一定要很精通不过最好会一点.

Seems you are really enjoying the research life here. I have graduated from MUDD of UNSW. Master by course. And now working in a local urban and archi design firm. I am still considering to get another degree for landscape. Do you have any idea about the landscape program? 吐舌头

I think James Weirick is a worthwhile guy but he is the only person whom one could consider as a supervisor.

You know James as well.
He is my prof in MUDD course. And we are good friends.
He is planning to set up a course program for landscape in UNSW. I just wonder if I could do a course degree or research one. If do research, shall I quit my job and do it full-time?
There is no other good prof you would like recommend? My option may not be UNSW only. 吐舌头

In fact Everything on your list can be purchased in Melbourne, it's just a bit more expensive

You will have to buy things eventually no matter how much you bring in.

If you are doing Bachelor of Landscape architecture you don't need to worry about learning the softwares in advance... Take your time to learn it during your studies.

大家好,从前不知道abbs有这么一个好帖子,让我在选择sydney u &UNSW 时头痛万分,我不太了解澳洲的情况啊.后来,我选择了unsw的urban design&development (coursework).
我想请教norman兄,这专业是不是就你所讲的澳洲最好的城市规划专业.我查过他们的课程,好象理论的比较多啊,里面每个学期都有个design studio既主科,是否是设计类的.因为我自己的强项系设计效果表现(电脑效果图).我的这些问题,在unsw的主页上到找不到答案.还有,我想问一下:我现在在等pva,期间要做些什么准备呢!?我需要再联系那里的导师吗!?我三月开课,可以提早几个月过去吗!?还有,就是我想了解那里校园环境,那是个很小的学校吗?有打tennis的地方.我是有期待,又担忧.虽然是贴尾了,望能得到你的宝贵意见.
