      freehand drawing or computer assist design is not a problem. its up to you. you yourself must be aware that which one can express your spirit better. about those sayings, in my view, if the prof is interested in you, no portfolio is also ok, otherwise, so many problems ugly and awful. By the way, excuse me, ZhangMenRen, your works' form is very similar to the portofolio here in US, but GuiZi do much more better in computer tech. I think the concept of Building or Model is very diffrent between GuiZi and us. There is a example, If you ever attend UIA Beijing Conference, you must remenber the work won the first award made by TsingHua Univ, That is the only one I ever saw that reach the height of GuiZi models(not only Com but paper). So, I woder maybe the drawings style of TianJin Univ. is a little easier for Chinese Portfolio comparatively? @_* |
