昨天主要是在介绍他的新作Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision, Hilversum, the Netherlands, 1999-2006
The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision in Hilversum, the Netherlands was completed in 2006 by Neutelings Riedijk Architects to house and display the national Dutch radio and television archives. It is horizontally split into two sections. The first section, located underground, contains the archival vaults. The second section rises above the ground to accommodate a multimedia museum. The gap bridging these two sections forms the building’s public spaces. The facade, depicting famous images from Dutch television, is constructed from colored relief glass and composed by graphic designer Jaap Drupsteen.
这个媒体中心就在VPRO前面,上次去VPRO的时候在那里喝了下午茶。。就在那个水池边上。。。
如果这个建筑有个标题,就是这次Lecture的标题The Form of the Emptiness。
