下面是近期的Lectures 是一个系列的东西 Process in Detail Recent Buildings from the Architectonic to the Bureaucratic This lecture series will present seven recently completed buildings to initiate a dialogue on the means and methods of contemporary built production. Beginning with the original design intention, each project will be examined in-depth from its architectonic aspects and spatial qualities to the representational techniques and bureaucratic processes used to realize its final construction.
下面是时间、人物、内容 Tuesday, 13 November, 19:00 hrs Strange Details: Faxes from the Future
Michael Cadwell Professor of Architecture, Knowlton School of Architecture, Ohio State University
Followed by a discussion led by Roemer van Toorn, head of Projective Theory, Berlage Institute
This lecture will conceptually frame the overall series based on his recently published book, Strange Details. Through drawings, photographs, sketches, and text, he will inventively rethink Wright’s Jacobs House, Mies’s Farnsworth, Kahn’s Yale Center for British Art, and Scarpa’s Querini Stampalia Gallery to offer an unconventional perspective for making architecture today.
