The roots of logon in Germany date back to 1987. Since then as demand has grown for contextualized solutions, so has logon. Identifying the need for higher quality construction within the Chinese market, logon began to work in China in 2001. By 2005, logon increased investment, knowing China-acknowledged players are only those who are willing to develop long-term relationships and those who can show endurance and take on responsibility within the market.

Marketing Coordinator

logon is currently looking for its Shanghai office, a Marketing Coordinator to fine-tune the marketing strategy and implement the 2009 Marketing Plan. He/she oversees marketing and communication activities to promote the brand: from event planning to smooth correspondence with media and business partners, to the translation of marketing documents into English or Chinese.

Main Responsibilities:
· Assist in refining marketing strategy to meet business objectives
· Implement 2009 marketing plan
· Manage the Marketing Department budget and deliver all marketing activity on time and within set budget
· Be in charge of production of efficient, high quality brochures and other online and offline materials
· Be responsible for correspondence with media and advertising outlets and for writing, editing, and coordinating company’s press releases and press materials.
· Assist in defending the logon Corporate Identity both internally and externally, ensuring that within and outside of the company, others implement it correctly
· Write, edit, proof and create all customer-facing materials such as application notes, white papers, case studies, customer profiles, customer testimonials, corporate backgrounders, partner programs, product data sheets, product presentations, training material, press releases, customer / partner newsletters, recruitment ads etc.
· Manage the creation of internal communications materials such as company newsletters, Intranet sites, sales training material, etc.
· Be able to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives

Through active corporate communication which he/she initiates is the Marketing Coordinator a representative of the company to the outside (external marketing) as well as a brand and Corporate Identity custodian towards the rest of the employees (internal communication). For this reason, the Marketing Coordinator should be able to be an excellent communicator and activator.

Reporting line
The Marketing Coordinator reports to Managing Director , Creative Director and Marketing Consultant

Requirements
· Bachelor degree, preferably with a focus in Marketing, Communications or related major
· Be able to write well (marketing feel), be comfortable at speaking in public (Chinese and English)
· 2-3 years working experience in this or a related field
· Have a good feeling for Marketing & PR for high-class clients in China and abroad
· Have a good eye for photography / have creative mind for exhibitions
· Ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
· Excellent English, ability to communicate in English (including international colleagues)
· Be open to new ideas and working procedures
· Be likable but focused, be a team worker but independent, be presentable but natural
· Be flexible!
