株式会社 川口卫建筑结构设计事务所(1964年成立)
日本法政大学工学部教授(1962年--至今,讲师、副教授、教授)
1966年获工学博士学位

获奖:
多次获得国际(英国、德国等)及日本建筑学会、土木学会、科学技术等各种奖项

作品:
设计了诸如日本代代木体育馆、大阪70年世博中心大屋顶、西日本综合展示场、世博
富士组展览馆、新加坡国立室内运动场、巴塞罗纳乔地奥运馆、深圳文化中心等国内外
十几项大型工程。这些项目已成为国际知名的大跨度建筑作品。
拥有结构工程专利17项并出版发行多部专著

学会:
曾担任过日本建筑学会、日本钢结构学会、日本混凝土协会、国际薄壳及空间结构学会、
国际桥梁结构学会 理事等重要职务
现任国际薄壳及空间结构学会主席

Design Of Rational Structures For Better Architecture

提纲概要
In the new century the role of a structural engineer in architectural activities becomes far more important than it has ever been, since structural and constructional technologies will no doubt become more and more sophisticated and more specific to particularized disciplines, and it will become much harder for an architect to understand most of them. Toward the coming ear a structural engineer should therefore train himself to gain ability of synthesizing related knowledge in different fields of engineering and architecture, besides ability in his major disciplines of engineering. He should also train himself to be able to help his architect understand in a conceptual way the most updated knowledge of related technologies, As a suggestion towards the above attempts, I will try to show how I have been endeavoring to enhance the architectural values of buildings by means of rational structures.
